Bouncy version 1 (Balloon Bounce)
1 (7.27.2010) After testing further today, since the Balloon Bounce intel was changed slightly, I think I may have found some better auto options that provide more wins and giant balloons at the same time. If you have already downloaded Bouncy, just change your Safety to 20 and Inflate to 35. If your options already have these set, you probably downloaded this auto after I wrote this section... so you are fine. Just make sure you play on Normal difficulty. I have also edited the below section here on this page to show the new default option changes. Supposedly one of the secret badges is to inflate a bunch of giants, so this will definitely help. And if you are in the mood to tinker with the options, let me know if you find a better solution. But these stats will be difficult to beat: 82 minutes, 44 of 47 rounds won (11 jackpot spins), 551 aliens defeated, 189 giants, 8x alien streak, 26 bonus missions. Do note that your Games Lost profile stats really should say Rounds Lost instead.

1 (7.27.2010) Keep your mouse off the game completely because it makes a cursor target and the auto doesn't need any more distraction. For now, play on the easier difficulty levels and use the default options shown below for the fastest rank progess. These Bouncy options shown below were used for testing to find your best interest. I decided to leave them inside for future challenge's sake. 99% of you should play on Normal and leave it alone... but if you are interested in adjusting things, knock yourself out. If your game lags, it's their fault. I recommend first trying Firefox or Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer. It's possible one of the three will be less laggy. Good old game site left the lag door open again, not my fault. Otherwise, if you are using a laptop, close the lid and go to sleep/work. No painted graphics and zero electicity to the monitor's display means less wear and tear, which means smoother game play and longer life. Windows Control Panel will help you with that in the Battery/Power Options area. Just tell it to "Do nothing" when you close the lid. Sure, half of these options are unnecessary. That's why I didn't remove them. The default options are shown below in (parenthesis).

  • Safety (20): This option was to offer a safety net, when the screen was too full of shmuck. I found it was not kosher to play when yer screen is full since you can't really complete a decent balloon size. Who tries to blow up a balloon when there's no safe spot? Slide higher to be safer or lower if you don't care.
  • Inflate (35): Bouncy already knows the safest distance because it already checked every possible avenue. Yep, it pretty much knows exactly how much inflation is necessary before a pop! If you want to blow larger balloons, increase this option. If you want smaller because too many balloons are popping, decrease. This option was essential for creating this auto. Play with it.
  • Fling (on): You can blow up a balloon and let go... or you can throw it. Your choice. I kinda like the fling technique. Again, wanted an option so my beta testers could see the difference.
  • Pause After (15): How long do you wanna wait before blowing the next balloon? Go higher and Bouncy will wait longer between each blow. Set to zero and the auto will whip them out instantly. I don't know, maybe you think the ghost round would be better off if you blew less balloons since the ghosts are going in and out. Whatever, I am talking to myself. Happy Halloween.
  • Giants Only (off): Only purpose of this option is possible future challenges. "Grow 1 million Giants this week!" Hopefully this should help cover it somewhat? Guess we'll find out. That's why I installed it.
  • Powerups (on): In case a future challenge requires no powerups, we have a choice.
  • Quick Finish (on): My favorite genius option. Finish the end of your rounds with ease. Fling your remaining balloons and zap away all remaining aliens.
  • Speed (50): Only controls popup Ok/PlayAgain buttons and similar.
