Cluey version 48 (Clue Secrets & Spies) |
 |
Browser: At the time of this writing, this auto no longer supports Firefox. They made some flash changes
that would force me to overhaul Cluey somewhat and I don't feel it's necessary quite yet since the other two web browsers (Google Chrome and Internet
Explorer) are working perfectly. So for now, simply use only Chrome (preferred) or IE and you'll be just fine... not a big deal. |
| 48 (1.27.2012) More fun times. The same person changed the word "beaker"
to "flask" in Traitor in Trondheim's San Francisco. Not sure why, as it definitely looks more like a beaker to me.
Thanks for letting me know, Jeff. If anyone else finds any more stupidity, do tell. |
| 47 (1.26.2012) Nothing major. Someone fixed the spelling with a spacebar from "acunit"
to "ac unit" in Fight to the Finnish's city of Quito. Now I keep wanting to make taquitos for dinner tonight for some reason. |
| 46 (1.23.2012) Included episode 55 (Voyage into Danger), with the following three new cities:
Manokwari, Capricorn, Lost Uboat. |
| 45 (1.16.2012) Included episode 54 (Catching Capricorn), with the following three new cities:
Darwin, Dakar, Norfolk. |
| 44 (1.9.2012) Included episode 53 (Treasure Under the Sea), with the following three new cities:
Miyazaki, Cordoba, Bremen. |
| 43 (1.2.2012) Included episode 52 (Capricorn Rising), with the following three new cities:
Bergen, Chennai, Pearl City. |
| 42 (12.26.2011) Included episode 51 (The Polar Prison), with the following three new cities:
Bekasi, Valletta, North Pole. |
| 41 (12.20.2011) Included episode 50 (Fight to the Finnish), with the following three new cities:
Quito, Zagreb, Helsinki. Based on some of these recent episodes, I am starting to think they are making up city names now. Quito? Manama?
Tarawa? |
| 40 (12.13.2011) Included episode 49 (The Toys of Chaos), with the following three new cities:
Gaborone, Toronto, Santiago. |
| 39 (12.6.2011) Included episode 48 (The Kids Aren't Alright), with the following three new cities:
Nassau, Tirana, Manama. |
| 38 (11.23.2011) Included episode 47 (Meleagris Nocturnis!), with the following three new cities:
Yerevan, Tarawa, Plymouth. |
| 37 (11.14.2011) Included episode 46 (Gunpowder, Treason & Plot), with the following three new cities:
Bishkek, Asmara, Westminster. |
| 36 (11.7.2011) Included episode 45 (PM Nighty Night), with the following three new cities:
Thimphu, Serekunda, Oxford. |
| 35 (11.1.2011) Included episode 44 (Remember, Remember...), with the following three new cities:
Apia, Montevideo, Blackpool. I also changed the Shareware limitation from being a measly Paris only to Episode 1 cities, which
gives an extra four free cities and completely cycles the first episode from start to finish. Since there are now 131 different cities in
this beast, I figured what the hell? |
| 34 (10.17.2011) Included episode 43 (Belay the Bidding!), with the following three new cities:
Can Tho, Giverny, Roswell. Also sped up the last two episodes' bonus rounds (so far), where the auto now clicks all 15 differences in the
blink of an eye. |
| 33 (10.12.2011) While harvesting the Loch Ness items, I noticed they spelled hankerchief incorrectly.
Looks like they went in and fixed it... which stalled the auto because it didn't know what a handkerchief was. It does now. |
| 32 (10.10.2011) Mayhem in Myanmar had a map problem with Minsk. Thanks for letting me know, Louise...
and let me know if there are any others. |
| 31 (10.10.2011) Included episode 42 (Clue F O), with the following three new cities:
Moeraki, Loch Ness, Chamarel. |
| 30 (10.8.2011) A week ago, one of the cities was broken so bad that it completely crashed the game. Two
days ago, they finally fixed it. But with that came severe graphic changes to the first 24 episodes' bonus difference cities. Everything
should be back on track... but certainly let me know if I missed anything, please. |
| 29 (10.3.2011) Included episode 41 (The Abducted Alien), with the following three new cities:
Area 51, Avebury, Gion. Also fixed the Dr. Pepper map stall None ready? of the bonus difference city Perth. |
| 28 (9.19.2011) Included episode 40 (The Storm Stops Here), with the following three new cities:
Pelourinho, Sanqingshan, Las Canadas. |
| 27 (9.17.2011) Whoops! Left a Stop statement in the code during last episode's testing. Totally forgot to
take it out. Sorry about that. |
| 26 (9.15.2011) Included the Dr. Pepper bottle cap promotion episode (Diamonds are Delicious), with
the following three new cities: Perch, Cork, Roanoke. |
| 25 (9.13.2011) Included episode 39 (The Weather Underground), with the following three new cities:
Beppu, Toledo, Kolmanskop. |
| 24 (9.5.2011) Included episode 38 (Cloudy with a Chance of Death), with the following three new cities:
Punda, Pamukkale, Neligh. |
| 23 (8.5.2011) Fixed Death of a Secret Agent Man's map issue of Bangalore. Thanks for making me aware
of the new stall, Randy and Frances. |
| 22 (8.2.2011) Included three new episodes 35, 36 and 37 (Independence Slay, Baltimore Blitz, Saving
Liberty), with the following nine new cities: Kyoto, Nuuk, Dodoma, S. Domingo, Tehran, Baltimore, Esbjerg, Kathmandu, Philadelphia. |
| 21 (7.10.2011) Fixed Lisbon's Cog Wheel. |
| 20 (7.5.2011) Included three new episodes 32, 33 and 34 (Death Vaults of Atlanta, The Devil Down Under,
The Blimps of Death), with the following nine new cities: Vientiane, Kampala, Atlanta, Lisbon, Havana, Coober Pedy, Washington, Taipei,
Copenhagen. |
| 19 (6.23.2011) Fixed the missing Barrel in Seattle. Added a new Flash Refresh option for IE and
Firefox only. They added gifting of episodes on the front page, so the auto was accidentally clicking those buttons instead sometimes. Not anymore.
Also made most people's Firefox to work again. If yours says Not Found, send me a picture and I'll stick it in the next update. Thanks for the help
with this one, Randy! |
| 18 (6.7.2011) Included three new episodes 29, 30 and 31 (The Quisling of Cannes, Traitor in Trondheim,
Mayhem in Myanmar), with the following nine new cities: Macau, Cannes, San Jose, Luxor, S. Francisco, Trondheim, Minsk, Thunder Bay,
Toungoo. |
| 17 (5.18.2011) Okay, this is pretty much the way Cluey is now going to be. It was a long journey, but
I think you are gonna like the results. You will notice that the auto no longer needs to click all 50 items randomly because it actually reads
the list of 10 words on the left panel and only clicks what's required. This, in itself, truly sped up the auto. The file size went up a bit
because I included 28 tiny postage stamp pictures of all bonus difference cities. Therefore, Cluey is able to pick off the differences instantly.
And finally, I added a new Random episodes checkmark option so the auto can play non-stop for you. In doing so, this auto has currently
broke a world record for tokens. It can full-cycle 10 completed episodes in just 14 minutes flat (at top 100 speed) and earn 57,000 tokens.
That's almost 250,000 per hour! Let's just hope they don't cap this game like they did Poppit!™ and Whomp. You may find a few final
stragglers that may stall the auto (? Coffee pot ?). Simply email me the name of the item and the city location and I'll go make it
happen. It's very difficult and tedious to perfectly test 80 different cities that each have 50 different item names when they only give you
10 randomly at a time. And I thank ya for yer help. |
| 16 (5.8.2011) Included three new episodes 26, 27 and 28 (Download of Doom, Conflict on the Caspian,
Abducted in Ulan Bator), with the following nine new cities: Manhattan, Wenchang, Earth Orbit, Caracas, Soweto, Neft Daslari, Seattle, Ulan Bator,
Chinotimba. I am still working on a final update coming very soon, as there are some misspelled/missing stragglers in some of the earlier
episodes. While I am discovering those, I am also converting their difference bonus cities to play in my new style (as seen in the final seven episodes).
It's so much quicker and smooth now... and I think yer gonna like it. Hopefully I will install a checkmark option that allows us to automatically keep
playing randomly-owned episodes over and over, as the new speed of this Cluey is accumulating well over 150,000 tokens per hour! |
| 15 (5.1.2011) Non-stop, for the past week, I have been working diligently on fixing the problems the
new flash conversion created. Today, a mix-n-match album was released requiring two completed episodes, so I decided to release what I currently
have (unfinished) to assist getting that badge. This update still needs a lot of work, especially the find the differences bonus rounds.
The new flash completely distorted the left and right side pictures, which is going to require brand new coding. It looks like I will need to
resort to an idea that I really didn't want... but it should be foolproof when finished. You will notice that during my overhaul this past week,
I have really sped up the auto. It now reads the left panel's font and knows exactly which 10 items are needed... so it no longer has to cycle
through all 50+ items and sting your time clock. Hopefully, this version will carry you over until I am finished this project. So for now, you
must use either Google Chrome or Internet Explorer (not the new Firefox4 and definitely not AOL). I also recommend playing the first episode if
you are attempting today's mix-n-match badge, as Cluey seems to fly the best through The Mole in Morocco. As I stated before, this auto's
final update is not finished yet and I decided to release what I had so far to assist you. I am aware of every issue: missing one or two
difference items in the bonus rounds, possible "Unknown font", misfires on some very rare hidden items, unknown rare hidden items showing
? 4 Fruit ? in the window. All of this will be taken care of shortly. If you honestly can't finish the episode yourself manually or back
out to try a completely different episode instead, simply wait for the next update. Yes, I know there are three new episodes on the way this
Tuesday and that will set me back a bit... but do know it's all top priority on my plate. Thanks for your patience. |
| 14 (4.6.2011) Included Raid on Khartoum (episode 25): Dili, Khartoum and Hagley Gap. |
| 13 (3.10.2011) Included three new episodes 22, 23 and 24 (Certified Public Assassin, Thin Ice in Bangkok,
Death of a Secret Agent Man), with the following nine new cities: Mahajanga, Boston, Tripoli, Bucharest, Mcmurdo, Bangkok, Bangalore, Kamchatka,
Douglas. I apologize for the delay of this update, but their beta program has been down for a month and there was no way to have these 450 new
items ready like usual. It's just something that takes a few days to harvest, then convert into code and test thoroughly. Not sure why they haven't
opened a new beta session immediately like they normally do. They are so Facebook stuck on converting their old games into Flash instead of pumping
out new material for their loyal customers like yourself. It's a shame, really, and everyone's pissed about it. I do appreciate most of
everyone's patience, but certainly didn't care for the few of you that were rude about (gasp) the 3-day delay required to complete this one. It's
not like those 3 badges were going anywhere, cough, but I doubt you irritables will be reading this anyhow, right? |
| 12 (2.7.2011) Included three new episodes 19, 20 and 21 (Our Man in Flint, Finn in
Flight, The Operative's Analyst), with the following nine new cities: Marseilles, Reykjavik, Flint, Bora Bora, Panama, Islamabad,
Accra, Belfast, Abbyville. |
| 11 (1.3.2011) Included Showdown at the Alamo (episode 18): Hague, San Antonio and Glasgow. |
| 10 (12.6.2010) Episodes 16 Defection in Monaco (Fairbanks, Monaco, Auckland) and 17 Pirates
of Pyongyang (Jakarta, Brussels, Pyongyang). I also had to completely change every episode's map, so let me know if you find any quirks.
Whether that's a map issue or any city's item is misfiring, do come forward. But as far as I know, this Cluey version should be just as solid as
before. Thanks! |
| 9 (11.2.2010) Included Bedlam in the Big Easy (episode 15): Warsaw, Bogota and New Orleans. |
| 8 (10.5.2010) Included The Gems of Zurich (episode 14): R. De Janeiro, Seoul and Zurich. |
| 7 (9.8.2010) Included both new episodes 12 and 13 (Undercover in the Underworld Part 1 and Part 2), with the following new
cities: Kiev, Nairobi, Dubai, Vienna, Las Vegas and Pompeii. There is a game error on the left panel inside Las Vegas (wrong city name), so I anticipate another 15-second
Cluey update will be needed after they fix it. |
| 6 (8.10.2010) Included Liaison in London (episode 11): San Diego, Amsterdam and Barcelona. |
| 5 (7.14.2010) Included Acropolis Now (episode 10): Dublin, Chicago and Athens. Free for registered users. Remember, the shareware
version lets you play Paris only in episodes 1, 2 and 6 so you can see exactly how the auto will perform elsewhere when registered. And the find 15 differences
bonus round cities are also fully covered in the registered version. |
| 4 (6.16.2010) Included episode 9's Manila and Honolulu. |
| 3 (5.31.2010) Included episode 8's Mexico City, free for registered Cluey owners of course. Glad you registered
the auto? As stated before, the shareware version of this auto will only play the Paris city. So if you need to be sure Cluey works great for you before
purchasing, just play episodes 1 and 2 over and over again. All cities, episodes and bonus round cities will be unlocked after registration. Fully
functional. |
| 2 (4.20.2010) Nothing major, just allowed the UK site as well (by request). The badges are the same, so don't
start freaking out. Thanks for the overwhelming response to this auto! |
| 1 (4.20.2010) The shareware version of Cluey will only play the regular Paris city from episodes 1, 2 and 6.
Register the auto for all other 19 cities, including bonus rounds. Once you register the auto, you will be able to select any episode and Cluey will land you
right back to the same episode screen when it's completely finished. Sorry, this game release is different than the others, so I had to make the shareware
limitation different as well. If you need more testing time to make sure the auto plays well on your computer, just re-play episode 1 or 2's Paris as often
as you need. I will probably be updating Cluey when the new monthly episodes arrive to make sure the auto is still smooth in the bonus cities and to include
the new map screens. Keep your game Speed option lower than 75 to avoid the popup speed warning inside the game. If you choose 75 speed or higher, the auto
will purposely get rid of that popup first, and then proceed with clicking all of the items. But watch out for 100 speed, as it will show "Fastest
Time: 0" in your stats since it destroys all objects in the blink of an eye. |
